Dream of Mirror Online (DOMO) is a fantasy MMORPG 3D game based on the Chinese myth surrounding the ancient artifact of the Kunlun Mirror and it was published by Aeria Games. In order to understand the game, you need to understand the legend behind the Mirror. The Kunlun Mirror was designed to record all of the events of the human world and it’s guarded by twelve Mirror Kings but in the game, something has went horrible wrong. The mirror no longer reflects the human reality accurately and the negative thoughts of the people from the real world have taken on a physical form in the mirror realm and turned into monsters which are terrorizing the inhabitants. Some of the Mirror Kings guarding that realm are missing and everything is in chaos. If the mirror is destroyed, the real world will die as well. As a player you’ll be summoned into the mirror world to help find the missing Mirror Kings and restore the natural order of things before it’s destroyed. This is a free MMORPG that provides a nice refreshing plot that is unlike the other games of this type. It’s a multi-class system that has the same features that most MMOG have such as combat, crafting, spells, harvesting and auctioning. The quests are unique and involve building or investigating murders. Dream of Mirror Online is an action MMORPG that gives players the opportunity to socialize and create friendships. You’ll spend the rest of your time leveling-up and learning crafting skills. One thing that sets it apart from other games is that it has a wide range of classes and you can even fly around with swords and wands. As a player you’ll start off as a commoner and you’ll take on one of the four races when you reach level ten. The options you have when it comes to classes include balanced humans, self-absorbed Sylph, energetic Sprites and dragon-descended Shura. The sound is not outstanding but different and the cut scenes add drama and even a little humor to the game which is a nice change of pace. The graphics are done in cel-shading which gives the game a cartoon feel but it allows it to be played on low-end computers smoothly. For some gamers this is great. They love the idea of not needed an expensive computer system to play the game and they don’t mind the cartoon style. Still, others find it somewhat annoying and childish. The main complaint that most gamers have is that you have to spend a lot of time in combat because each class levels independently.
